Mitsui Hiroki

I joined IGNITE after receiving an offer from Kawabata. I was drawn to the opportunity to work with both marketing and English, two areas I'm passionate about. Previously, I worked at an advertising agency. My interest in marketing started during a university seminar where I studied the subject and found it fascinating. I believed hands-on experience was important, so I started in sales before transitioning into marketing. At 30, I studied abroad in the Philippines for six months, then spent a year and a half working in marketing at a language school there. There was a lot I didn't understand at first, but it became genuinely enjoyable once I got the hang of it.

My main responsibilities include ad campaign management, proposal creation, report writing, and client meetings. Since the quality of a proposal can determine whether a client moves forward, it's incredibly rewarding when they praise the work I put into it.

The high degree of freedom. There's a lot of flexibility in how we work, our approach to tasks, and the work itself, and decisions are made quickly.

Also, each person's performance has a significant impact on the company, which makes the work feel meaningful. Many of our team members are unique individuals with an interest in English and international topics, so it's a great fit for people with similar interests. We value listening, reading, and writing.

Our challenge is that while we receive many inquiries, we don't have enough people to handle them all. I believe we need to grow the team and strengthen our organizational structure.
My goal is to systematize our processes. As the team grows, procedures can become unclear, so I want to create manuals and documentation so everyone is on the same page.
On a personal level, I'd love to create an IGNITE-branded service. Our current offerings are primarily focused on solving client challenges, so I'd like to develop and launch our own proprietary service.
