Translator - Role Details
Produce translations in accordance with project briefs and specification documents.
Optimize expressions and units of measurement with careful consideration of cultural context.
Translate marketing materials including ad creatives, landing pages, and articles.
Check for mistranslations and inconsistencies as part of quality assurance (QA).
Resolve ambiguities in requirements and ensure client feedback is thoroughly reflected in deliverables.
Maintain and update glossaries and ensure consistent use of terminology across projects.
Create guidelines and establish rules to standardize translation quality across the team.

・Ability to understand cultural context and convert content into appropriate expressions
・Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality translation
・Ability to accurately understand and reflect client intent in the final output
Employment Details
Based in Kansai
Must own a computer
1+ year of Japanese-English translation experience
Native-level English or Japanese proficiency
Experience translating marketing and business documents
Remote work available (frequency negotiable)
